No Such Thing as an Off-Year

There is no such thing as an off-year at Content Creative Media. Our team worked in some of the biggest and most-watched races across the country in 2021.

Here’s a rundown:

BALLARD KNOCKS OFF INCUMBENT DEM IN VIRGINIA HD-12; GOP ENDS DEMOCRATIC CONTROL OF STATE HOUSE

In Virginia, Content Creative Media was part of the winning team for Jason Ballard, a veteran, small business owner and political newcomer who knocked off Democratic incumbent Del. Chris Hurst in Virginia’s 12th House District. The race was one of the most hotly contested legislative contests in the state. Ballard was outspent on TV and radio by a wide margin, but overcame the deficit with a series of ads that told his story, protected his reputation and hit back at Hurst.

Ballard won by a double-digit margin, 55.2% to 44.4%. The win was part of a great night for Republicans in Virginia; the GOP ended Democratic control of the State House.

STANFIELD, TORRISSI, UMBA WINNERS IN NEW JERSEY LD-8

Content Creative Media worked for winning Senate candidate Jean Stanfield and Assembly candidates Michael Torrissi and Brandon Umba in New Jersey’s 8th Legislative District.

Stanfield’s race against Republican-turned-Democrat Sen. Dawn Marie Addiego was one of the most competitive and expensive legislative races in the country in 2021. Addiego and Democrats spent *millions of dollars* trying to defend the seat.

A focused, tough ad campaign made the difference for Stanfield, Torrissi and Umba.

OPPORTUNITY MATTERS FUND PROVIDES BIG BOOST TO YOUNGKIN AND SEARS

Content Creative Media also worked for Sen. Tim Scott’s Opportunity Matters Fund, which provided a big boost to Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin and Lt. Gov-elect Winsome Sears in the final stretch of their campaigns in Virginia.

OMF spent nearly $900,000 on TV, radio and digital advertising in the final five days of the race.

Youngkin and Sears both prevailed.
